The Ac or Ascendant in astrology is the Zodiac sign rising on the eastern horizon at any giving moment in time.This sign is also apart of what I call the "Holy Trinity" of astrology being apart of the chart dominant points and signs which are the Sun/Sol,the Moon/Luna and the AC/Ascendant.This sign or point is the vehicle and projection of all your natal chart functions.For example you may be an Aquarius sun sign but you may also not know that you have a Libra rising with a Gemini moon sign.These three signs make up you basic nature but the way they are projected into the outer world is through your AC/Ascendant sign.When you go out in the public on a day like any other you may notice that you act in a certain fashion,this may be traits from your Ac sign.When around people who you are close to you your sun sign may appear brighter.Just like in space when you get closer to our solar systems source of light the Sun/Sol.
