The planet Uranus is considered by those who study the planets and heavens as the odd ball of the group.Uranus actually sits in a way that is very unique to the other planetary bodies in our solar system,because it's poles are not what we see as north and south but east and west.The physical unique way Uranus rolls through the solar system is an analogy with the meaning the planet has in astrology.Most astrologers and books will say Uranus dances to it's own drum.I see it as dancing to the drum of the solar system but in a way that is abstract.

Uranus keywords are rebellion which is my favorite:) odd,unique,abstract,detached,inventive,rapid,futuristic,Prometheus(forethought) and freedom.Where Uranus is in your chart is where these keywords have power.For example My generation has Uranus in Capricorn which can be looked at and interpreted in many ways.A quick overview of what this means is that the structure of Capricorn will be broken down and reinvented with the futuristic Prometheus style thinking of the Aquarian mind coming to the Cronus boundaries of structure.My third house has a stellium with Uranus as the first planet.I am not an Aquarian but sinse the third house is the mind(In short) I think like one.Also I have a north node in Aquarius.

Uranus is the planet that brings that light bulb over the head moment of intuition and abstract creativity that we get in tune with when we are free of the structure of the Saturnian mind.

Hard aspects to Uranus can give the native a highly rebellious detrimental outlook on life where the natal knows no boundaries and rules seem to not apply in any way.The freedom mindset can manifest in ways that do not serve the native in an exalted way.The key to using hard aspects like squares and oppositions with Uranus is to channel that unique freedom loving energy into creative ways that express the unique self without hurting ones relationships or self.

Mythology-Uranus/Ouranos is the Greek sky god of the heavens.He is a Titan and one of the very first Gods.Son and lover(Weird I know lol) of Gaia the earth goddess.He is the father of the later ruiling titan Cronus.The story goes,Cronus castrated Ouranos and that led him to bleed out and leave the rulership up for grabs which was taking by the God of time,Cronus.Ouranos is the one that breaks free of all restriction of Cronus once used properly in the Natal.Also Jupiter is also the one that leads the march to freedom from the time god Cronus.

 Notes on the Sun's Glyph 

The Sun is the vitality of the natives chart,the primordial essence and divine spark of life.The dot which you see in the middle is that spark which I speak of and cannot be crucified(die).As a soul we never die hence the rock groups name NERD(No One Every Really Dies).Keywords to describe this would be boundless,
eternal and endless.One can also look to the esoteric symbol the Ouroborus for more detail which can be seen as the dragon eating it's tail in an endless cycle of energy sinking into it's self then transformed and rising once again.

Neptune is the planet that rules over dreams,illusions,the film industry,music,religious faith(blind faith),inability to see and think in a clear manner,photography and the mystical side of life that one may not be able to explain.Neptune is a planet that in astrology is like a ghost because you see it then you don't! Think of a boat riding through dense fog in the night at sea while voices echo around you.It will be hard to tell where they are coming from.Hopefully that gives you a picture of how difficult it is to understand Neptune in it's full sense.Neptune modifies your aesthetic ability and it is the higher octave of Venus.Ruler of COSMIC LOVE and the ability to know the world in a holistic none dual state.Neptune is compassionate energy and very giving.Service to others in a spiritual way is something that Neptune does great.

Hard aspects to Neptune can effect your rationality in a way where you may be a bit dreamy and none realistic.For example I have Neptune in the third house conjunct Saturn and Uranus opposing my Sun and Mercury.At times I can get really over the top in my dream world and not see things clearly.I may plan something but too big and not see the small details that help build the big picture.I also get confused easily especially when traveling.I love writing and I feel my creativity comes alive more when I can express myself in my blogs.

Jupiter is another gas giant but this Giant likes to grow and grow and well you get the picture.Where Jupiter sits your chart is where you most likely attempt to expand or where life for you has expanded consciously or unconsciously.I have a friend with Jupiter EXALTED in Cancer and he has a large large family.Considered the Greater Benefic,Jupiter also rules over luck and great gifts in the natal chart.Proud in every way this planet walks with the chin up.The Jupiter return is a return that is highly talked about by those who teach and practice Astrology.Sometimes Jupiter can expand too much and like Neptune it can go a tad bit over board..I have Jupiter in the ninth house conjunct Mercury and if you know your planets you can tell I love learning new things.Sometimes I can also go overboard and try to cram as much knowledge in my brain as unhumanly possible.I also love travel and nature.When jupiter has easy aspects Jupitarian things will come easy in life for the Native.
